STUDENTS COVID-19 SAFETY GUIDELINES FOR RESTARTING TRAINING

It will soon be time to welcome you back to training in your Club and so we are setting out guidelines for both Students/Parents/Guardians.

Clubs may vary as to when they are allowed back into venues so please look out for Emails from EWSKA or calls from local Instructors or Club Facebook.

Please do not return if you show any symptoms of the Coronavirus or anyone in your household is self-isolating.

All students/Visitors should adhere to Government Guidelines for entering a building. Face Masks and keeping distance.

Hand sanitisers will be available in venues.

Please arrive ready to train in your Training Suit, Face Mask and with refreshment. Also any medical necessities e.g. inhaler.

No protective wear will be needed as sparring will not yet be allowed.

Please register for your class and also give emergency details for Track and Trace for yourself and any parent/visitor also. You will be asked if you or anyone in your household has symptoms.

You will be allocated a space for your items in the Dojo and  where a masked parent/guardian can sit. It would be preferable and encouraged for students to be left to train without parents/guardian. If this is not possible then only one parent/guardian will be allowed to remain.

Students will be allocated a training space and can remove mask while training.

There will be no shouting during training.

No sparring or pairs work.

All students will be facing the same way.

If students do need the use of Toilets then a face mask must be replaced. Hand washing and again sanitising before re-entering the Dojo. Join the class again and then removal of face mask.

At the end of class if possible use a second exit but if this is not possible then every person in the Dojo should again wear masks and sanitise on leaving the building and public areas.

These guidelines are necessary to keep everyone safe so you can again enjoy your Karate. Please help us to keep everyone safe.
